I was in the Law enforcement field for 25 years. I recently retired from a different state. I moved back to Illinois, and because of uncontrolled circumstances, my CCW and training would not transfer to IL. Needless to say, I was not happy regarding my situation. However, a Retired officer who attended Bryan’s CCW renewal class recommended Bryan’s class. I have to say, Bryan’s CCW course was very informational regarding IL state and local laws. Bryan also taught an old dog a few more new tricks. Bryan modified my firearms stance to the point I shot quicker AND a tighter group. I would recommend anyone from a beginner level al the way up to and expert level to attend Bryan’s CCW courses. Either way, I promise you, You will walk out of Bryan’s class with more experience and knowledge then when you walked in. Thanks Bryan! Kurt L.
This class is so informative and explains things in ways that are easily understood. Bryan is a great communicator and drives home the importance and responsibility of owning and using a gun. I really enjoyed the class.
8 hr class for Military personnel was great, instructor even went above and beyond to ensure i could get to my train on time instead of waiting two and a half hours after class. Range was fun and clean class went by quickly one stop shop for everyone so now I just wait and get the license in the mail no need to mess with The state and potentially mess up the paperwork and get to re do it all very well organized thanks for the experience!
Exceptional experience. Brian’s demeanor and range attitude made for a super learning experience. The combination of video and what-if scenarios created an interactive back and forth in the classroom. He made the range seamless and comfortable. I’d recommend this class and instructor to friends and family members.
I really enjoyed Brian's 2 day class and the content was very informative. He makes the large amount of information easily digestible and memorable. Also, the convenience of being able to get your paperwork submitted and prints and all of that right there on the spot is really helpful. I would definitely recommend Concealed Carry of Illinois to anyone.
Brian was informative and made everything very easy to understand. He will make sure you are equipped with the proper knowledge and attitude to be a responsible CCL holder as well as overall firearm owner.

Took the class this past weekend. Very informative and you will definitely leave leaning a lot that will stay with you. A few things were hammered in your head that will stay with you. You will definitely NOT be disappointed and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for their CCL.
Brian was very knowledgeable, he helped explain the laws and made us feel more comfortable throughout the entire process! He taught us skills and having him present during shooting at the range made us feel more comfortable! We highly recommend using Brian and will continue to recommend him to anyone wanting to get their carry conceal license!!!
Would give a 5+. Brian shares his experience and knowledge with care and interest. We had never handled a gun before. The course training and time at the range was handled brilliantly. We benefited from a private lesson. The extra cost for an our small group was a solid decision. We may never own a gun yet now have a good foundation to use one at the range.
In addition to having great knowledge of firearms and concealed carry, Brian is fantastic teacher/instructor who keeps your interest the entire time, makes it interesting, and makes sure you are successful… Highly recommended!
great class, Brian was effective and entertaining teacher. on day 2 of the 16 hour class, a biometrics team came in to offer livescan fingerprinting, photo taking, and "do nothing" application assistance meaning when you are done qualifying at the range, you can let the biometrics team submit the entire application for you and just wait for the permit to come electronically then plastic hard copy later. I recommend this class and would certainly sign up for renewal class as well.
Just finished the 16hr class and Brian was a great instructor. I was a former Wisconsin CCL holding and The format and information he had was great. Also the do nothing program where all fingerprints and info sent to state were done for us was great to. I learned so much from him and he built up confidence in all of us at the class. I highly recommend his class.
Great class! teacher is very interactive and easy to learn from. there’s no way to fail this course.
I highly recommend taking this class, our instructor, Brian was very informative and his team was also incredible. There was classroom Instruction, videos, biometrics finger printing, then they had a representative from the USCCA offering very affordable memberships, and then off to the range for target practice. This program was perfectly structured and again I highly recommend this class.
Came for a renewal class, was provided the latest most relevant information on Illinois firearm laws. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful in the class and at the gun range. If you need to get your FOID card and know nothing about firearms you won't find a better class.

I never thought I’d learn to shoot let alone be a firearm owner. Brian allowed me to feel at ease and worked with me at my pace. He spent extra time with me ensuring my comfort level throughout the classes and post lessons. He is a true expert, professional and extremely thorough. Highly recommend!

As someone who has suffered all my life from a lack of confidence, imagination and empathy, I have come to rely on firearms for a sense of worth, purpose and security. Thank goodness there are other people out there like me who understand the happiness of the hidden gun and can teach me the loving way to handle them. Now I don't feel so alone. May the cancer spread across America!
